“Boobs” by Hannah Lau-Walker and Associates

British director Hannah Lau-Walker is bringing together an all-female animation and audio crew to support the launch of Boobs, a collaborative art book designed to honor women (and breasts) with profits for breast cancer charities.

The book and film feature original artwork by female illustrators and offer a modern take on breast cancer awareness.

Under the supervision of Lau-Walker and the Nexus EP Julia Parfitt, each artist created an interpretation of what breasts symbolize and created a collection of vignettes, all animated by members of the She Drew That artist community.

The illustrators were carefully matched with animators based on their style and approach, with the final piece being put together by the director.

The result is a collaboration of over 28 illustrators and animators with music from female composers Neighborhood Jukebox at Sister Music and the production of an all-female team at Nexus Studios.
