BURBANK – – While the personal aspects of the annual CTN animation eXpo have been postponed to 2021, CTN, in collaboration with Visit Burbank, has reinterpreted the 2020 edition as a virtual online event. CTN-Live with the theme "Revive and Thrive" will take place online from November 16-22. This won't just be another online event. The new format is designed as a weeklong retreat to restart, recharge, and reset so that artists can work together towards new landscapes, channels, and opportunities.
"I wouldn't be sure if I didn't do this," remarked CTN founder and producer Tina Price. "I think it's important that we support the community now more than ever."
CTN-LIVE is offered free of charge and is a 24/7 creative week-long retreat for anyone looking to recharge their artistic powers and prepare for the year 2021. This unique event offers interactive experiences, coaching and lectures, demos, recruitment, scholarships and topical issues that will resonate throughout our lives and should lead us as creators into 2021.
"As the animation capital of the world and home to entertainment companies big and small, Burbank is our physical home and the greatest supporter of the international animation community," added Price. “Partnering with Visit Burbank makes perfect sense as it offers an invaluable relationship that both business and creative professionals can enjoy. The support from everyone I've spoken to in the community is just amazing. I invite everyone to join us this year as entry to the Main Event is free. This is an especially challenging time for many artists, and CTN and the community hope to provide inspiration, optimism and opportunity to various artists of all ages, races and locations in this important "give back" campaign.
