Director / animator Max in the Flatwhite Motion Studio in Qingdao, China: “We finally had the opportunity to create some logo animations for our own studio.
“For the kung fu movie we wanted to do something wild and unconventional, and we found that there are as many similarities between kung fu and motion design as the slow and fast, soft and hard concepts. We are very happy that Sono Sanctus was able to help us with the sound design.
“If the second animation is, we want to express the concept that our studio is like a capsule toy machine that offers so many different possibilities, full of surprise and fun.
“It also shows the teamwork we have in our studio. Wacom pens form different emojis (different projects). Emojis also reflect what we see and feel at different stages in the creation of each animation. We have always loved Ambrose Yu's music and sound design, so we finally got the chance to work with him. "
