LOS ANGELES — Ghost VFX announced the opening of their newest studio location in Vancouver BC, a well-known center for visual effects and animation. The company already has studios in Los Angeles, Copenhagen, London and Manchester. This is a step in the VFX house's expansion plan. They also named Gillian Pearson as Lead Studio Manager. In her new role, Pearson will oversee day-to-day operations, including the recruitment of a new team of top talent and overall studio management. The new state-of-the-art facility in Vancouver will consolidate the company's global presence.

During Pearson's career in the entertainment industry, she has built a respected reputation for her visual effects skills and leadership for the next generation of VFX talent. She co-founded the Lost Boys: School of VFX, a prestigious visual effects college, and has credits as a VFX producer on many prestigious projects such as A + E / History's Six and two seasons of Project Blue Book. She also served as production and studio manager at CoSA VFX for three seasons of Warner Bros TV / Fox & # 39; Gotham and features such as The Conjuring 2 and Foxcatcher.
