The Gnomon Workshop published Introduction to Massive Prime, a comprehensive guide to crowd simulation software, recorded by Reza Ghobadinic, global leader of Framestore's crowd division.

During the master class, Ghobadinic shows how to create, test, and render crowd simulations suitable for professional visual effects and feature animations, and shares his own industry-proven tips and tricks.

A complete guide to professional crowd simulation in Massive Prime
In more than 11 hours of video training, Ghobadinic examines how credible crowd simulations for film and television can be created with the Oscar-winning Massive Prime software.

The master class shows how to create crowd agents from scratch, gradually add features to improve their behavior, and how important a systematic workflow is when designing their AI brain.

Ghobadinic also covers creating a biped crowd agent from a skinned rig, editing animation clips for use with the agent, and creating a dynamic explosion simulation scene.
