The Swedish visual effects studio, Haymakerannounced the expansion of its US operations with the opening of a new facility in Los Angeles. Leslie Sorrentino has been named executive producer and director; The announcement was made by CEO and senior VFX supervisor Alex Hansson.
Sorrentino is a multiple Clio and Emmy award-winning advertising and VFX veteran. His résumé includes working with director Martin Scorsese as well as Bethesda Game Studios (publisher of the FALLOUT video game series), the National Football League, global agencies, film studios and television networks.
Haymaker was founded by Hansson in 2008 with the aim of creating a studio where artistic passion and the use of the latest technology come first. By minimizing the number of managerial and administrative positions, costs for customers have been significantly reduced while delivering the highest quality work. The studio has run major campaigns for premium brands like Puma, Girard-Perregaux, Burger King and Hyundai, as well as feature films like Borg vs. McEnroe, Chappaquiddick and the opening selection The Dead Don & # 39; t Die of the Cannes Film Festival developed.
