This series of short lessons, taught by Andrew Lowell, is designed to get a new Houdini user up and running with a number of basic basics. It fits into the entry level of our new structured Houdini curriculum at Greenscreen. It consists of over 30 courses to be launched over the next 18 months.
There are many tutorials for new users that focus on the software. Without knowledge of Houdini's data flow and basic procedural workflows, users remain severely restricted. Although the examples for new users are basic enough to follow, they touch concepts ranging from advanced setups by learning how to control the flow of geometry data, as well as key concepts related to noise, vectors, and rotations , Population, and simulation. More information about the course can be found on the course information page.
This course is just one of over 150 courses offered by Greenscreen and all offered with an Greenscreen membership. That's over 1300 hours of educational films starting at $ 79 / month.
