IBC closed this year from December 3rd to 6th.
IBC returns as a personal trade fair. This is great news for those who are keen to attend the Amsterdam event which will showcase the latest technology from exhibitors as well as several educational conferences to improve your filmmaking skills. IBC 2021 is set for December 3-6, 2021.
"After a period of industry consultation, the IBC Partnership Board has agreed that December is the best date for the industry to be safe and ready to get involved," said IBC Managing Director Michael Crimp. "Our conclusion is based on the results of the latest IBC exhibitor and visitor surveys and macroeconomic evidence for opening Europe to business."
The organizers of the fair indicate that "health and safety" were key factors in the decision to return. IBC surveyed visitors and exhibitors, and two-thirds of respondents said that stricter protocols to protect the health of visitors would encourage them to participate.
