It looks like someone woke up on the dark side. Dubbing actor Sam Witwer, who played Darth Maul in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, now wields his lightsabers in a recent IGN article. After The Mandalorian season two premiered, rumors skyrocketed. The fans are looking for Easter eggs and clues to the future. IGN joined the party and reported on it every actor and character listed in the new episode and accidentally widowered as one of the Mos Pelgo background actors.
Real actor Josh Moreno took to Twitter to poke fun at the Snafu:
When the Star Wars fandom thinks you're @SamWitwer, but actually just villagers # 4 @IGN pic.twitter.com/SJDUTTYOPA

Sensing a disruption in the power, Widwer responded to the tweet by stating, "I wish IGN would take their diligence and investigate that my hair is not blonde … But hey." IGN has since corrected your mistake, but you should be concerned. If Maul can survive after being cut in half by Qui-Gon Jinn, he can certainly harbor a very stern grudge.
Be sure to find Sam Witwer in the background of The Mandalorian Episode 2 November 6th on Disney +.
