"Although we won't be able to gather in one room this summer, the Electronic Theater is about honoring amazing stories from last year, and I'm excited to be able to share them virtually for the first time," said SIGGRAPH 2020 Computer Animation Festival Director of the electronic theater Munkhtsetseg Nandigjav. “The variety of content is something that I am very happy about for this year's show. We not only have three world premieres, but also an incredible variety of short films, real-time, student and experimental short films, breakdowns of visual effects and more visualizations than we have seen at SIGGRAPH for a long time. It is also an incredible honor for me to offer Ultimate attendees an exclusive, virtual Director’s Panel, which will feature two female directors. "

The SIGGRAPH Computer Animation Festival is a qualified festival for the Academy Awards and shows how different industries cross the boundaries of computer-generated storytelling in the areas of film, games, advertising, visual effects, science, television and more. For the virtual storefront, expectations remain the same as the show is an experience that will surely inspire the creators to think beyond what is possible in the coming year. Chosen by one Expert jury Works from Japan, Australia, Germany, Canada, Singapore, Great Britain, France, Sweden and the USA come from almost 400 submissions.

According to Sidney Clifton, juror of the SIGGRAPH 2020 computer animation festival from Deluxe Animation Studios, participating in this year's jury was inspiring! The talent exhibited was incredible and I was impressed with the quality and variety of the approach to the story we saw – especially from students. Honestly, if we did, the show would be closer to three hours instead of two. "
