Portal light updates
We have made some major improvements to Shaderlight's portal lighting feature that will improve the quality and accuracy of using portal lights.
We are constantly expanding the capabilities of Shaderlight. So if you haven't updated in a while, here's a reminder of some recent updates to Shaderlight.
Light emitting material
By combining the features of the old self-luminous material type and an associated area light, the light visibly glows and emits, and emits light that illuminates other surfaces, making it much easier to achieve the desired lighting result.
Color picker for lights
You can now set the color of Shaderlight lights based on the correlated color temperature to make it easier to render real-world lights as determined by the color temperature.
White balance adjustment
A new white balance control lets you adjust the white point of renderings by setting the white point and creating images without strong tones.
