Flix 6.3 is now available with new levels of security, faster imports and improved editorial control. Foundry, the leading developer of creative software for the Media and entertainment and Digital Design Industries, released Flix 6.3. After Foundry released two key features in 2019, Avid and Storyboard Pro, Foundry's focus for Flix in 2020 is on gradual improvements in speed and efficiency.
Flix 6.3 is the first version of the year that focuses on improved security with HTTPS, faster imports, and an expanded Avid Dialogue workflow that gives editors better control of their subtitles and editorial deliveries.
The new release highlights include:
Improved security: With HTTPS, there is an additional layer of security for all communication between the end user and Flix Server, which can now be encrypted.
Import speed improvements: Panels are created in bulk, the user interface is released faster, and rendering takes place in the background, reducing import times by more than half.
Improved Avid Dialogue Workflow: With this new version of Flix, Avid users can access the latest dialog in a convenient subtitle file that is available with every editorial submission. In this way you can follow the constantly changing dialogue between story and editorial.
