Query about ue4 Translucent Materials Refraction

I want to make an impact in this video

Based on what I know in the unreal, refraction cannot affect other translucent material

But in the video this ray effect is affected by triangular refraction material (if I am missing something, please let me know.)
I really don't know how to do this. Please help !!!
