Does anyone know how to make a UV radiation float around in an object? kind of like glass marble, but what if the wavy things inside were flat? but in the local area so that the marble can still roll?

or is it cheaper to just create a render target with a second camera from what's in it and use that image on a UV screen on a sphere? but then it would be more difficult to figure out where the camera would be pointing when the marble rolled.
