Simple solutions for your mobile audio needs.
In addition to introducing an updated MKE 400 shotgun microphone and the new XS Lav series of microphones, Sennheiser has put together kits for the mobile developer and vlogger to help you capture clean audio when you need it most.
Let's take a look.
MKE 200 and MKE 400 kits
Recognition: Sennheiser
If you need a compact audio solution for your mobile device, the MKE 200 and MKE 400 kits are great solutions. Both versions include 3.5mm TRS and TRRS cables, a smartphone clamp and Manfrotto PIXI. The main difference between the two kits is the microphones. The MKE 400 is a longer super cardioid shotgun microphone while the MKE 200 is its shorter cousin. Both are capable of recording audio with natural sound, but the MKE 400 gives you a bit more range in the field.
The MKE 200 kit is priced at $ 129. The MKE 400 kit costs $ 229.

This kit includes a wireless audio solution. The kit contains an XSW-D transmitter and receiver, a ME 2-II omnidirectional lavalier, multiple TRS-to-TRRS cables, a cold shoe holder, Manfrotto PIXI tripod and a smartphone clamp to attach to your mobile device.
The wireless XS system is digital and uses the same 2.4 GHz frequency as WiFi, allowing license-free operation worldwide. There is no need to search for available frequencies as the system will do it for you automatically. This means that you can take the XSW-D with you wherever you go without the fear of static interference or dropouts. You can turn it on and just start recording.
