TV Academy Announces 72nd Primetime Emmy Award Nominations

LOS ANGELES – On Tuesday, nominations were announced for the 72nd Emmy Awards, which feature a variety of groundbreaking new programs and emerging talents, as well as beloved artists and hit shows, which have been instrumental in helping television viewers change in a changing world find your way.

The live ceremony, which was replaced by a virtual event due to the COVID 19 pandemic, was hosted by Supermarket Sweep-Star and Saturday Night Live alumnus Leslie Jones with moderators Laverne Cox (invent Anna), Josh Gad (Central Park) and Tatiana Maslany (Perry Mason)) and Frank Scherma, Chairman and CEO of the TV Academy.
