WATCH: Disney+ Drops Sneak Peek Clips of ‘Marvel’s 616’

Disney + has released two exclusive sneak peek clips from the upcoming original anthology documentaries, Marvel's 616. The first clip comes from the episode "Higher, Further, Faster" directed by actor / director Gillian Jacobs, which sheds light on the groundbreaking Women from Marvel throws comics and how they found ways to tell stories about representation and inclusion.

The second clip comes from the episode "Lost and Found", directed by Paul Scheer, which follows the eye-opening and funny journey of the actor and comedian to discover the "forgotten" characters of Marvel Comics. Each documentary in this series tells a compelling story that brings the filmmaker's vision to life.

A virtual Comic-Con @ Home panel will be held on Thursday, July 23, 1 p.m. PT, Disney +. "A look at Marvels 616" with Jacobs, Scheer and executive producers Sarah Amos and Jason Sterman and moderator Angélique Roché (presenter of Marvels Voices and The Women of Marvel Podcasts), where they will discuss the creation of these new original documentaries.

Marvel's 616 examines how Marvel's rich legacy of stories, characters and creators exists in the world outside your window. Every documentary directed by a unique filmmaker examines the intersection of storytelling, pop culture and fandom in the Marvel universe. The films in this anthology series cover topics such as Marvel's global artists, the pioneering women of Marvel Comics, the discovery of Marvel's "forgotten" characters, and much more.
